The name of our magazine is VIAGGIVACANZE, and not Viaggi E Vacanze!
The reason? Very simple! As we never tire of suggesting, we believe travelling must also be a holiday. Travelling is not simply beautiful: it is marvellous! Therefore, it would be a real sin to spoil a trip….without transforming it into a holiday! But, of course, tourism is the main subject of our publication: there is practically no area of the earth or aspect of civilisation which over the years has not been written about in our magazine. We were the first to visit places where tourism was - if not unexplored - absolutely negligible: places where every type of tourist structure now stands. We have talked about, and continue to talk about, very small countries as well as important centres, about extinct civilisations and emerging realities, customs from every era and place, tiny modern crafts and forgotten trades: basically, everything that enriches travelling. We have followed - and continue to follow - the evolution of the demand, offer and the opportunities of this great resource, which can truly lead to a real awareness between different people, to an understanding of different civilisations, to an explanation of all the diversities which are otherwise incomprehensible. We try, as much as possible, to convey to each traveller and holidaymaker the message of optimism that is a fundamental and essential part of each trip and each holiday! And we don't forget to give practical instructions and useful information on finding the best each field has to offer! Under costruction
